"V Series" Type-L Valves V-040LV/V-065LV/V-100LV
This is a type-L valve designed for longer life-span and improved ease of maintenance. The bellows inside the valve has a longer life-span (compared with our existing product *1) by using Hastelloy alloy. Also, the MSB series uses a metal hollow O-Ring for the bonnet, which prevents the gas permeation of the air, making it ideal for gas analysis vacuum equipment and the like. Large collection of sizes and connection flanges are available for both manual and compressed air powered valves.
Components
Features
- Can be used up to ultra-high vacuum
STD series*2 can be used in ultra-high vacuum range of about 10-7Pa*3, MSB series*4 for about 10-8Pa*3. - Long-life valve
The built-in bellows is a molded bellows. Made of Hastelloy alloy for better cost and product life*5. - Open/Close position sensor switch
Every standard air cylinder used in the valves has a position sensor switch (magnetic sensor) for opening and closing. - High heat tolerance
The air cylinder for compressed air powered valves is heat-resistant up to 120℃. Therefore, bake-outs are possible with the valve body heat up to 150℃ for STD series and 200℃ for MSB series when the valves are opened. (However, please make sure the temperature does not exceed 120℃ for the air cylinder and 60℃ for the sensor switch.)
*1: Bellows product life comparison with our 951 series type-L valve (about 5 times longer).
*2: Standard specification using a fluoro rubber O-Ring for the bonnet flange.
*3: The vacuum rate is only a reference value, for there is emission of gas such as moisture from inside the valve at the beginning of usage.
Also, please note that the ultimate pressure varies depending on the pump to be used.
*4: Metal seal specification using a metal hollow O-Ring for the bonnet flange seal. (The part that separates the passage is an O-ring made of fluoro rubber.))
*5: Bellows product life varies depending on the use conditions. Check the time to perform maintenance with the actual equipment.

*1. The vacuum rate is only a reference value, for there is emission of gas such as moisture from inside the valve at the beginning of usage. Also, please note that the ultimate pressure varies depending on the pump to be used.
*2. Gas permeation of the fluoro rubber (Viton) O-Ring is out of specification.
*3. The maximum temperature for the sensor switch is 60℃. Please remove the sensor switch when heating up to 120℃. If heating of the air cylinder can be kept under 120℃, the valve body can be heated up to 150℃ with STD (with the valve open), 200℃ with MSB (continuously for 4 hours with the valve open).
*4. Air consumption of 1 cycle (open-close) at the air pressure of 0.5MPa. About half the value for NC valves.
